Insurance group “SOGAZ”, according to experts, can occupy about half of the Russian aviation insurance market after the merger of the insurance business with the VTB group. Thus, the share of the combined company in the segment of insurance, and civil liability of operators and owners of aircraft will be approximately 55%.
On closing of the sale of 100% of “VTB Insurance” to “SOGAZ” was announced on October 31. The perimeter of a contract includes all group companies “VTB Insurance”, including “VTB Insurance, and VTB Medical insurance”. It is reported that all insurance assets are combined on the basis of “SOGAZ”.
